The Sunbird Relief Foundation for Palestine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, Palestine. Established amidst profound loss and devastation, our organization has become a beacon of hope for those we serve and those who contribute to our mission. These communities, affected by forced evacuation, famine conditions, and bombardment, are among the most vulnerable.
Our organization is inspired by the spirit of giving and service to others, in honor of Ahmed Al Shawa, who was martyred. This project serves as a memorial to him and all that was lost, driven by the love and solidarity of the Al Shawa family. Initially, the family supported the community by distributing food, water, basic necessities, and monetary aid to orphans and families.
