About The Sunbird Relief Foundation for Palestine
The Sunbird Relief Foundation for Palestine is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting orphans and displaced families in Gaza, Palestine. Established amidst profound loss and devastation, our organization has become a beacon of hope for those we serve and those who contribute to our mission. These communities, affected by forced evacuation, famine conditions, and bombardment, are among the most vulnerable.
Our organization is inspired by the spirit of giving and service to others, in honor of Ahmed Al Shawa, who was martyred. This project serves as a memorial to him and all that was lost, driven by the love and solidarity of the team who started it. The project has supported the community by distributing food, water, basic necessities, and monetary aid to orphans and families.
The foundation of our efforts dates back to before October 7, with compassionate presence on the ground and dedication to community welfare. The core team now drives our aid initiatives, in collaboration with other like-minded individuals, strengthening our impact.
The founders have provided financial aid, food supplies, and potable water in northern Gaza, while also supporting orphaned children and the families of martyrs. Today, the Sunbird Relief Foundation for Palestine continues to expand its efforts, striving to restore hope and prosperity to the resilient people of Palestine.
